The truth about Love
Love is defined as "an intense feeling of deep connection".
Most often people relate Love to that of romance, but there are SO many other places we find deep connections. Those connections could be to self, friends, family, God, Spirit, nature, animals, and so on. In those places of connection you will find Love.
I believe in the power of Love, and I believe that Love can heal those who are ailing, even where there is no hope.
In December 2015 Gord Downie, of The Tragically Hip was diagnosed with a brain tumour; there is no cure, and it is terminal. On Saturday night, they played what was slated to be their last show ever in their hometown of Kingston, Ontario. Although I wasn't there, and I watched it from home, I could feel the energy from the other side of the country. I could feel the outpouring of Love from the fans, the band, and Gord. The people in the audience were deeply connected to Gord and it was palpable.
That kind of Love holds power, and miraculous things can happen because of it.
Carry that kind of Love with you wherever you go, give that kind of Love away as often as you can, and believe in the power that Love holds.
